Some of my favorite musicians performed this past weekend at Le Poisson Rouge in New York in a benefit for Project Ahimsa, an NGO working to empower youth through music. The organization produces cultural events, supports youth music educators throughout the world, develops cultural arts programming, and donates musical instruments. And they can mount a really good rock concert.
